June 9/10
So as some of my readers may know, I was drinking Crystal Light for a really long time – so many flavors! But then the boyfriend started buying coke again (he started missing it) and since I still have lemonade Crystal Light left over he stopped buying more. Pretty much, he wants me to finish the lemonade until he buys more.
BUT, he did me a favor the other day and bought me cold brew iced tea bags. 3 minutes for yummy tea… throw a little sweetener in there and it’s great! And then when it’s almost gone (about 1/3 of the way), mix in a bunch of lemonade and you have an Arnold Palmer! So yummy!
Since last week, I’ve lost another two pounds… I’d forgotten how logging helps much more than just watching what you eat.

June 9
Today was a very boring day. The boyfriend was working and I had absolutely nothing to do… I went job hunting, though, as I’m sick of not having money for stuff I want!
I made chicken for lunch and had pasta for dinner – low calorie day but no real exercise, save a little walking around an outdoor mall to put in apps at restaurants.

June 10th
Today was a lot of job hunting! I made eggs with a little cheese and ham for breakfast for the boyfriend and I… and then I died a little at the amount of fat in eggs. :< So much for a healthy food! Stupid eggs.
After a few hours of job hunting, it was time to make a little dinner. The boyfriend and I were making burgers, but after looking at the fat I’d eaten all day and the fat in the things we were making for dinner, I opted for a grilled chicken breastΒ instead of a beef patty – saved about 18.5 g of fat (not even kidding). Had to have garlic fries, of course! π

Minor mobile update
Ohhaidere, checking in for a quick mobile update!! Studying for my last geo final, haha.
Since my boyfriend and I did indeed get tickets, I’m more pumped than ever to do this. Furthermore, a friend of mine moved to an apartment complex with a gym so I’ve started using that with her daily.
I guess what this means for you is more updates from me to go through! I’ll be blogging with calories every day again, so try not to get too sick of seeing them.
I’ll also do a countdown to blizzcon so we know just how long we have!
I’m super stoked for all of us participating. Keep losing those pounds and inches!
And to those who left comments in my last entry, I’ll reply to them shortly!
I’m playing Catch Up!
So I haven’t updated since April 19th… I’m sorry. π¦ Please don’t hate me.
On the bright side, I HAVE been counting calories and recording them which brings my total weight loss up to 20 pounds!
I have about 5 weeks left of school and then it’s summer time (which means I’ll have no excuse NOT to work out and eat well, especially since I’m still jobless).
The boyfriend bought Crystal Light for me the other day. About 6 different flavors? I was getting really frustrated a couple weeks ago because we were out of Fruit Punch and just had the regular lemonade left and I didn’t want that or just plain water… I ended up drinking a Mountain Dew because it was something different.
And I did have a coke last night. My boyfriend’s aunt was FINALLY able to get out of Iceland (Eyjafjallajokull is causing so many problems) and she brought him 2 bottles of Icelandic Coke (which he SWEARS is the best). We chilled them up and I tried it. Not gonna lie, it’s got a very different taste and is actually really, REALLY good.
But now I’m back to water and crystal light. π
20 pounds… I’m still amazed. I found a pair of capris I had retired sometime last year because they were too tight to be comfortable any more… and I put them on and they fit WONDERFULLY.
It’s so so SO inspiring. I don’t think I’ve ever been this proud of myself. :3 Just remember, it’s all worth it in the end. Eating less, drinking more water and less soda… everything adds up in the end… So keep going! I believe in every one of you!

Oops! π¦ Didn’t update, BUT I did keep track of my calories.
As watchers on the forums know, I did get a little injured this weekend. A little twisted back + sprained hand = unhappy weekend!
I ate a lot of Quizno’s this weekend. I recently discovered the baja chicken sandwich I realize it’s such an AMAZING sandwich and it’s a very nice change from Subway which is, while tasty, a little hard to mix up.
Very low calorie day today… I don’t know if it’s just because that time of the month is ending or if I felt awful about eating too much yesterday, but I swear it wasn’t intentional. π¦

Thursday, April 15th
Ah, Tax Day! My least favorite day… Just because I realize really late that I don’t have everything done and I stress. π
Today was another school day so the boyfriend and I grabbed some Quizno’s on the way to school (I got the Baja chicken again) but when we realized we were going to be too late we went to my grandparent’s house instead and I cleaned out some old stuff from the garage.
4 hours later, as I was leaving to go to school my grandpa gave my boyfriend and I a little cash for dinner at In-N-Out (yes, I know, it’s SO BAD because it’s burgers) and I treated myself to a Hamburger, light spread, no cheese, no fries.Β All in all, 390 calories and 19 grams of fat. I was pleasantly surprised! I knew that In-N-Out was healthier than other fast food places but I didn’t expect the difference to be that great.
After our last class of the day we went home to find that my boyfriend’s mom had made tacos, so I had a small taco and then it was raid time! So much LK…. and popcorn! 3 tbsp unpopped, shared with my boyfriend. Drank an entire 2 liter of water! So much water. o_o…
I’ll see you guys tomorrow, I’m gonna go pass out now… Night night!

Wednesday, April 14th
Wow. So… it’s been a few days, huh? After my rl drama the other day I was just so unmotivated. I DID keep records of everything I ate and I was always within 1600-1900 calories (1900 was the worst, I felt so bad afterwards) but I just… didn’t update. ><
Today was a nice sleepy day. School started up again this week and the boyfriend went to work really early so after waking up with him and then falling back asleep I woke up again at 11:30-ish to find the pally changes (which I’m ECSTATIC ABOUT!). Made myself my cheriyaki tacos (minus pineapple) using Mission Carb Balance tortillas. Drank 4 glasses of water with it and was unbelievably full afterwards.
Cleaned a little at home, nerded out about the pally changes with my guild, and then the boyfriend came home. He took a nap and then we ran to Quiznos for dinner (his dad is out of town so his mom gave us money to feed ourselves). I ended up getting a regular sized Baja Chicken sandwich, minus the cheese, and I added lettuce and tomato. 690 calories, 29 grams of fat. Worse than Subway sandwiches but it was a nice change of pace.
Had a 10 calorie popsicle for desert since I was out of popcorn. ;_; Sad face. Tomorrow’s another school day but it’ll be fairly easy to watch my calories. π

Friday, April 9th
Guess what I had for luuuuuuuunch! That’s right, ANOTHER burger!
Dinner was……. you guessed it! Subway! π I sense a pattern here…
Stressful night… came home and ate some chicken my boyfriend brought home and a quarter of his bottle of Mountain Dew… I wanted to stress eat so bad… I still have chocolate left… but I knew that would be bad, so I ate chicken instead, haha….
Sigh. I’ll update again tomorrow. I’m out of it.

Thursday, April 8th
We still have burgers left over! And we will until Saturday lunch, so figuring out calories is pretty simple.
My boyfriend’s beagle ate the chocolate bunny I was saving… he felt sick for a while but otherwise he wasn’t hurt and it’s had no adverse side effects… but I guess it’s a good thing – that’s one less piece of chocolate *I* have to eat!
Had a burger for lunch with blue cheese (I’ll have just enough for the rest of the burgers for the week). We went to Subway for dinner again because I was craving Honey Mustard and I got the chicken breast sandwich again. It’s sooooooo yummy.
Now… here comes the bad part. I had one diet pepsi left and I don’t plan on buying any more. I was saving it for a time I REALLY wanted it… Well, last night during raid my friend came over with his girlfriend and both of them as well as my boyfriend were chugging cokes… I started wanting one SO bad so I drank the diet pepsi. π¦ I did drink my 8 glasses of water though so it wasn’t too bad… Ate berries during the raid and ended up making 120 calories worth of popcorn which I shared with my boyfriend. Not too bad a night, but I didn’t work out and I need to do that again.
Snuck some Reese’s Pieces throughout the day, but only 1/4 of a serving so it wasn’t too bad.

Wednesday, April 7th
A very lazy day today. Ate a burger leftover from last night, followed by Subway Grilled Chicken sandwich with Honey Mustard for dinner… I felt awful though, I did eat the leftover Baked Lay’s and french onion dip. :X Popped up my calorie count a bit but I’m still well under 2000, so it’s not bad! π

Tuesday, April 6th
My day started off pretty boring… I used the last bit of chicken I had to make my Cheriyaki tacos and just sliced up some more veggies to go inside… Didn’t have any pineapple. π¦ But the tacos were good nonetheless.
Since the boyfriend’s family is in Peru for the week, we decided to have some friends over for an impromptu dinner party (which is why I didn’t post until today – I was so exhausted!).
We decided to do burgers, since my boyfriend is a miracle worker with them, and of course my fries. I did want to try something a little differently though, so before they were cooked I kneaded the patties until they were a little less formed and separated each patty into two pieces and flattened them out. I cooked up some bacon and cut it up into smaller pieces and put a little bacon on top of one patty (and in mine I threw a little blue cheese, since I’m the only one who likes it among my friends) and then put the other patty piece on top and folded the sides under and over until the bacon and cheese were firmly between the patties. They cooked WONDERFULLY! The little bit of cheese in the center was so creamy and it made for a really tasty burger.
For those who didn’t like blue cheese, I sauteed mushrooms in a little olive oil and garlic (I don’t like mushrooms π¦ ) and they got to eat mushroom bacon swiss burgers!
We also had some baked lays and french onion dip as something to munch on while everything was cooking. 2 servings of chips and a couple tbsp of the dip and I was happy as a clam!
Paired with a little bread pudding for dessert.
All in all, 1800 calories for all of that? Not bad. I could have cut out the bacon and the cheese… but then it would be a normal burger. π All in all, not too bad a day.
